- Great gift ideaChosen for real-world gifting
- Hand-pickedCurated, not scraped
- Honest reviewThe catch, not just the hype
Why this gift works
A dice tower cut from birch plywood in the shape of a castle, with a laser-engraved dragon on the front. Drop the dice in at the top, they tumble down inside, and they land in the attached tray. When the session is over, the tower folds down into the tray for storage.
Towers settle arguments about tilted dice and suspiciously skilled throwers, and they look good doing it. For a group that meets at the same table every week, it quickly becomes part of the ritual.
Who is this gift for?
Great for
- A group that plays around the same kitchen table every week
- A DM who likes a bit of theater at the table
Think twice if
- They hate assembling things
- They carry their gear to a game store or a friend's house
The catch
It arrives flat and needs careful assembly from small wooden parts, and it is a decorative plywood piece rather than a heavy hardwood tower, so it wants gentle handling.
Skip for someone who carries their gear to games and needs things that pack small, or who dislikes putting things together.
Worth knowing before you buy
- It ships flat and needs assembly.
- It is made for standard-size dice, not jumbo novelty dice.
Why we like it
- Settles every that-roll-didn't-count argument
- The castle and dragon look great on the table
- Folds into its own tray when the game ends
Questions people ask
Yes - it ships flat and slots together from laser-cut wooden pieces. Set aside some time and follow the instructions carefully.
