Filing a notice

Your written notice should include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with a URL or enough detail for us to locate it.
• Your contact information (name, address, email).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Send notices to hello@whytobuythis.com. We will review and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material and notify the relevant party.

Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It should include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and where it appeared before it was removed.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which WhyToBuyThis may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

Before you send a notice

Under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. If you are not sure whether your rights are being infringed, consider getting legal advice first.

Product photos and prices on this site come from Amazon's product listings through the Amazon Associates program. If your concern is about a listing on Amazon itself, please report it to Amazon directly through Amazon's own infringement reporting process — removing it here would not remove it from Amazon.
