Why this gift works
Mechanix Wear Original Gloves have a 0.8 mm synthetic leather palm that works on touchscreens, a CoolPlus woven mesh back to reduce heat, and a TPR hook-and-loop cuff. They are machine washable and come in sizes from XXXS to XXXL; the link opens the black Medium listing, per Mechanix.
The point of a mechanic's glove is to protect hands without losing the dexterity to start a small fastener. The Original is the glove you see in shops and pit lanes.
Who is this gift for?
Great for
- Mechanics and DIYers
- Garage and yard work
- Adding to a tool gift
Think twice if
- You do not know their size
- They need cut protection
The catch
You need their glove size - the link opens Medium; they are a thin all-purpose glove, not cut-resistant, insulated or chemical-proof; and the mesh back is not waterproof.
Skip if you do not know their size, or they need cut- or chemical-resistant gloves.
